About us
VBwines.co.uk is the online store of Vivat Bacchus, a London Restaurant and Wine Club that has been proud to offer some of the best South African wines since 2003. A few years ago, the long term relationship with some of the most respected & well-known wineries in South Africa set the grounds for a great wine-making partnership. The Vivat Bacchus own wine label was born and has since grown to a range of nine wines!
We have selected a list of the best selling wines from our wine list for this website, of course including the range of VB wines.

Charity drive
Since 2017, 50 pence from the sale of every bottle of Vivat Bacchus own-label wines has gone to charitable projects in South Africa. Realising that VB could help with improving the community life on the wine farms we decided to donate to the charitable projects on the Kaapzicht wine estate.
There is now air conditioning and a new floor in the Kaapzicht community school as a direct result of the donations. Since then we have collaborated on another great project that identifies children in SA with hearing and vision problems – donations have been made to the HearX foundation 3E (Ears and Eyes for Education) project in the Cape. In total more than £10 000 has now been channelled to these charities in the past few years; something we are very proud of but the final thanks goes to our VB customers.
